The only pro in this telephone is that you can speak via Skype to other users, but as landline is awful. I really think is not worth the money not even if it's half it's price.
The new phone synched up perfectly.This Amazon retailer was very nice and very responsive. After some frustration with tech support at Linksys, I finally got them to send me a new phone. The Skype service with a $ 3 a month fee enables us to call any phone in the US or Canada for free. I got one of the first phones made. It would not link up with base unit. I highly recommend them.It is so nice to have 2 phones posted around the house.
Sometimes the phone does not ring at all.5. For those who have been reading wonderful reviews of this phone, I provide you words of caution. This phone is not very portable. I must dial the number or pull it from my phone book, press the call button, then it asks if I want to make a Skype or landline call, and then I have to respond to that. It does the job - even if barely.3.
Your only option is to buy another base until plus handset and throw away the base unit. There are none. They talk about being able to add up to 3 additional expansion hand sets. Guess what. Not on this site or any other site.
Why should the extra handset CIT400H cost more ($129.99)than the box and the handset CIT400 ($89.99).Can anybody explain this to me.Bewildered.
